History
Gifu Gokoku Jinja is a shrine that enshrines the heroic spirits of people from Gifu Prefecture who gave their lives in wars since the Meiji Restoration. In particular, from the Seinan Rebellion to the Pacific War, the souls of brave warriors who fell defending their homeland rest peacefully.
