Kotonomama Hachiman Jinja

Kotonomama Hachiman Jinja, read as "koto-no-mama," is famous for granting wishes. This ancient shrine, continuing from the Heian period, enshrines Emperor Ojin. True to its name, "wishes are fulfilled just as they are," it has become a spiritually efficacious place visited by many pilgrims. The character "nin" (任) signifies that all things are accomplished as desired, and this belief attracts visitors from distant places.
