Usa Jingu Okumiya

Enshrined at the summit of Mount Moriyama, Usa Jingu Okumiya is revered as the most sacred sanctuary of Usa Jingu. It is a sacred site where the Great Deity of Hachiman is said to have first descended, and through the ages, ascetic practitioners and devout believers have continued to make pilgrimages to this spiritual place. Though the path to the mountaintop is steep, it brings one closer to the deity, offering a special experience that purifies the heart. It is said that visiting both the main sanctuary and this inner sanctuary grants deeper divine blessings.
