Tabata Jinja

Tabata Jinja is enshrined in the residential streets of Ogikubo and has been deeply cherished by the local community as their tutelary deity. From the Edo period, it has protected this land, and during times when agriculture flourished, it was bustling with people praying for bountiful harvests. Although the surrounding landscape changed due to post-war urban development, the shrine has maintained its timeless tranquility. The shrine is beloved by locals who visit daily in worship and is cherished as a warm sanctuary watching over the healthy growth of children.
