Shishinai Jinja

Shishinai Jinja is a shrine located in Shishinai, Tobetsu-cho, Ishikari-gun. As the valiant place name "Shishinai" suggests, it is said that powerful energy dwells in this land. It was established so that settlers during the pioneer era, living in harsh natural conditions, could maintain strong hearts and not be defeated. It has a history of serving as emotional support for residents, helping them face difficulties with the courage and valor of a lion. Even today, it continues to be cherished as the guardian deity of the region.
