Enkoji

Enkoji is an ancient temple known as the thirty-ninth station of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage. Situated in the mountains of Sukumo, this temple has long been visited by many pilgrims as a sacred site connected to Kobo Daishi Kukai. The temple grounds feature scattered structures that tell of history, creating a sacred atmosphere enveloped in the serene nature of the mountains.
