Koriyama Hachiman Jinja

This Hachiman shrine enshrined in Yamato Koriyama has long been revered as a deity of war, with Emperor Ojin as its principal enshrined kami. During the Edo period, it was devoutly venerated by the samurai of Koriyama Domain, and worshippers would always visit at decisive moments and life transitions.
