Hiyoshi Jinja

This shrine has long been loved as the tutelary deity of the region. It enshrines Oyamakui no Kami, the principal deity of Hiyoshi Taisha, and continues to watch over the peace of the area and the happiness of its people. The shrine has deep connections to the place name Haiishima and has continued to the present day supported by the strong faith of local residents. Through seasonal festivals and rituals, it also plays a central role in the local community.
