Urita Jinja

Urita Jinja, enshrined in the village of Hiyeda, is remarkably connected to Hiyeda no Are, who was involved in the compilation of the Kojiki! It has long been revered as a kami of learning and of the performing arts. Called "Urita," this shrine has become a sacred place for those engaged in learning and artistic expression.
