Tsubakihara Tenmangu

Tsubakihara Tenmangu is a Tenmangu shrine enshrined in Tsubakihara-cho, Kanazawa, dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning. Long cherished by local residents as the Tenmangu of this area, it continues to receive visits from students and test-takers. The shrine grounds are planted with plum trees, and as flowers associated with Sugawara no Michizane, they blossom beautifully in spring.
