Oyachi Jinja is a shrine rooted in the residential district of Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo. The place name Oyachi derives from the fact that this area was once a yachi, or wetland. From the pioneer era onward, it has continuously watched over the lives of local people, serving as an approachable and cherished shrine.
