Honzan-ji

Honzan-ji is a venerable temple located in Sadamune, Misaki. As the name "Honzan" suggests, this distinguished ancient temple has served as the center of Buddhist faith in this region. Enveloped in the serene mountain environment, it guides the hearts of pilgrims toward deep tranquility. Throughout its long history, it has received the various wishes of local people and continued to convey the compassion of Buddha. The grounds, surrounded by nature in each of the four seasons, have become a precious place of spiritual solace for modern people.
