History
Hanabata Oowashi Jinja is cherished as the tutelary shrine of the Hanabata area in Adachi Ward. It enshrines Yamato Takeru no Mikoto as its principal deity and is revered as a kami of good fortune and prosperous commerce. Known affectionately as "Otori-sama," it belongs to the lineage of shrines famous for the Tori no Ichi festival and has a distinguished history.
