Ogushi Jinja

Ogushi Jinja is a historic shrine standing in Koshiba-cho, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka. The unusual name "Ogushi" is said to derive from a comb used to comb beautiful hair, and since ancient times it has been believed to bring blessings for women's beauty and matchmaking.
