Tokyo Chiyoda Ward Sotokanda 2-16-2

History

Known as the tutelary shrine of Edo, Kandamyojin is one of the oldest shrines in Tokyo, founded in the year 730 (Tenpyo 2). During the Edo period, it was held in deep reverence by the Tokugawa shoguns, and achieved great renown through the Kanda Festival, one of the three great festivals of Edo. The shrine enshrines three deities: Daikokusama, Ebisusama, and Masakadosama, and is particularly known for its benefits of business prosperity, good fortune in love, and evil spirit exorcism. In modern times, IT-related companies frequently visit, and it has gained attention for a new benefit called "IT information security protection." Located near Akihabara, this shrine represents a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
