History

The Toshogu in Miyazaki City is a shrine enshrining Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Edo shogunate. As one of the Toshogu shrines found throughout the nation, it has been carefully maintained by people in Miyazaki who revere the virtues of Ieyasu.
