Takekoma Jinja

Takekoma Jinja is renowned throughout the nation as one of Japan's three great Inari shrines and is a shrine of distinguished origin. It is said to have been founded during the Heian period, and there is a historical record of receiving devoted faith from the imperial court during the Showa era. As the place name Inari-cho indicates, this entire area developed as a center of Inari faith.
