Ayugai Yasaka Jinja

Ayugai Yasaka Jinja is a shrine located in the Ayugai district of Kitsunezanji, Ichinoseki. As a Yasaka Jinja-affiliated shrine, it enshrines Susanoo no Mikoto. The place name "Ayugai" is said to derive from the abundance of sweetfish caught in the river flowing through this area, indicating the land's deep historical connection with water.
