Shirajinja is a shrine enshrined in Naka-cho, Chuo Ward, Hiroshima, having walked through history alongside Hiroshima's castle town. From the Sengoku through the Edo periods, it gained faith as the region developed, becoming the guardian deity of merchants and craftsmen.
