Zenshimintera is an ancient temple located in Toichi, Nankoku City, and is cherished as the thirty-second station of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temples pilgrimage route. Built at the summit of Zenshibin mountain, this temple is known as a sacred site where accomplished zen masters engaged in spiritual practice. The view from the mountaintop is magnificent, extending far enough to see the Pacific Ocean. Many pilgrims report that by quieting their hearts and offering prayers in this spectacular setting, the afflictions of daily life are naturally purified, leaving them with a clear spirit.
