Imamiya Jinja

Imamiya Jinja, enshrined in Daikoku-cho, Naniwa Ward, has long been cherished as the community's patron deity. It enshrines Okuninushi no Mikoto and is particularly revered as a deity of romantic connections and prosperity. Though located in an urban area, the grounds are enveloped in quiet, and it has become a place of respite for local people. During festivals, community residents unite to perform sacred rites, and one can feel the warm bonds of an old-fashioned downtown neighborhood. Though small, this traditionally established shrine rooted in the community continues to be carefully preserved.
