Aoigadake Jinja

Aoigadake Jinja is enshrined at the summit of Aoigadake in Yamanouchi, Miyakonojo—truly a sacred place in the heavens. As its name suggests, Aoigadake with its beautiful verdant appearance has been revered as a sacred mountain since ancient times. The view from the mountain peak is magnificent, with a panoramic vista of the Miyakonojo basin.
