Nonaka-ji

Nonaka-ji is an ancient temple said to have been founded during the Asuka period, and is a temple with ties to Prince Shotoku. As the center of Buddhist culture in this region, it has gathered the faith of people for a long time. Particularly from the medieval to early modern periods, it played an important role as a spiritual pillar of the community. In the quiet precincts, one can feel the history of prayer that has continued from ancient times.
