Shoji Kuonji

Minobu-san Kuonji is a renowned temple that serves as the head temple of the Nichiren school of Buddhism, boasting a history of over seven hundred years. It began when Saint Nichiren established a hermitage in 1274, and it is known as the sacred place where the saint spent his final years.
