Inasa Jinja
History
Inasa Jinja is an ancient shrine located in Iiyaya, Inasa Town, Kita Ward, Hamamatsu City. Iiyaya is known as the homeland of Ii Naomasa, a renowned military commander of the Sengoku period, and the birthplace of Ii Naotora, who became famous through a major historical drama. This shrine is said to have had deep connections with the Ii clan. The Inasa region has long been regarded as a place of spiritual efficacy, and this shrine has served as an important spiritual pillar for the community. It is said that the Ii clan's military commanders visited to pray for victory in battle, and the shrine has been revered as a deity of victory and good fortune. The grounds are enveloped in tranquility, emanating a sacred atmosphere that conveys the weight of history.
