Ikonahimeno Mikoto Jinja

Ikonahime Nomikoto Jinja is a beautiful shrine dedicated to the goddess of the sea, situated in Shiraihama in Shimoda. Enshrining Ikonahimemei, who is said to have created the Izu Islands, it is known for its benefits of matchmaking, safe childbirth, and maritime safety.
