Shinden Jinja

Shinden Jinja is a warm and community-rooted shrine situated within Miyazaki city. The name "Shinden" refers to newly cultivated rice paddies, and speaks to how this land has flourished and been cultivated alongside agricultural development, nurturing the livelihoods of its people. As the tutelary deity of the community, it has watched over the lives of the people of this land for many generations. Particularly revered as a deity of agriculture, it has a long history of receiving prayers for abundant harvests and family safety. As a community-centered shrine, it continues to be beloved by many parishioners to this day.
