Takeda Jinja enshrines Takeda Shingen, a great warrior of the Sengoku period. It is situated on the site of Shingen's residence "Tsutsuji-ga-saki Palace," making it truly a sacred place connected to the Takeda clan. Many people visit to pray at critical moments and matters of fortune, hoping to receive blessings from Shingen, feared as the "Tiger of Kai" for his strategic wisdom and martial prowess. The temple grounds still contain Shingen's well and ancient stone walls, allowing visitors to feel the atmosphere of the Sengoku period. As a deity of victory and good fortune, it continues to receive much reverence.
