Doushunji

Doushunji is an ancient temple located in Mizunokami-cho, Yamaguchi, deeply connected to the Mouri clan. Known as the temple of repose for Mouri Motonari, a great daimyo of the Sengoku period, this venerable temple is intimately bound with the history of the Mouri family. Though situated in the heart of Yamaguchi, its serene grounds evoke the weight of history.
