An ancient shrine of Settsu Province with historical connections to Empress Jingū's conquest of the Three Kingdoms. Due to its proximity to Kobe's coast, it has long been revered by local people as a guardian deity of safe navigation and maritime protection. Particularly in Kobe as a flourishing port town, it gathered the faith of sailors and merchants, with many worshippers visiting to pray for safety in maritime traffic. Even today, it remains a welcoming shrine rooted in community faith.
