Tamaesaki Jinja

As the Grand Shrine of Kazusa Province, this ancient shrine of the Boso Peninsula has long been revered. With Tamaoyorihime no Mikoto as the principal kami, it is particularly beloved by women as a deity of safe childbirth and romantic bonds. Located near Kujukuri Beach, it is cherished as a kami overseeing both the blessings of the sea and earth. As a shrine of distinguished rank, it draws many visitors from throughout Chiba Prefecture and beyond, serving as a spiritually efficacious sacred site.
