Kamiteine Jinja

Kamiteine Jinja is enshrined in the Teine area of Sapporo's Nishi Ward. Located at the base of Teine Mountain, it has a history of walking together with the development of this region. It is deeply connected to the origin of the place name Teine, which is said to come from the Ainu word "Teine," meaning "dry river."
