History

Mandoraji is the 72nd sacred site of the Shikoku Eighty-Eight Temple Pilgrimage and an ancient temple connected to Kobo Daishi. As its name indicates, it is a temple that transmits the profound teachings of esoteric Buddhism based on mandala teachings.
