Iizuna Jinja

Iizuna Jinja is a mountain worship shrine that enshrines the Iizuna Gongen from Iizuna Mountain in Shinshu. The Iizuna Gongen is depicted in the form of a tengu riding upon a fox, particularly renowned for its power over contests and overcoming difficult circumstances. This deity holds special significance, with its divine virtue of delivering the prayers of worshippers to heaven being beyond measure.
