History

Byakko

Standing firm at Tsuruga's Kanegasaki, this temple honors its name as the eternal keeper of wishes. Countless pilgrims have come here to silently offer their deepest, most treasured desires. Within the golden-gleaming halls, the monks' chanting never ceases, continually bringing people's wishes before Buddha. Though pilgrims' faces and forms change with the times, their fundamental aspirations remain constant, and this temple steadfastly receives them all.
