History
Founded in Meiji 13 as a place for worshipping from afar the Ise Jingu, this jinja is beloved as "Tokyo's Ise Shrine." Enshrining Amaterasu Ōmikami and Toyouke Ōmikami, it is also famous as the first jinja to conduct Shinto wedding ceremonies. Following Japan's postwar reconstruction, it became widely known as a jinja for romantic bonds, and today many worshippers visit seeking the fulfillment of romantic love. Within the serene precincts in the heart of the city, it is truly a special place where one may receive the divine blessings of the deities of Ise.

神門の扉・灯篭・賽銭箱・拝殿階段に「猪目（いのめ）」と呼ばれるハート形の魔除け装飾が計4箇所以上あります。もともと恋愛と無関係な建築意匠で、すべて見つけるのが密かな楽しみになっています。
年間を通じて縁結び参拝者が多く、平日でも昼間は行列があります。最も空いているのは開門直後の6〜9時で、御朱印の待ち時間も最短になります。
御朱印は社務所（本殿向かって左側）で直書き対応しています。七夕・重陽の節句・桜の季節など不定期で数量限定の季節御朱印が出ており、公式Instagramで事前に告知されます。

七夕祈願祭だったらしく とても混んでいました 七夕限定の御朱印は完売でした 花手水とてもキレイでした
ギリギリ(?)七夕の飾り付けがありました。 七夕特に何もしなかったので少し嬉しかったです。ミストとかミスト扇風機が各所にあって、多少、暑さが紛れました。 相変わらず恋する乙女で賑わっています。
縁結びのご利益で有名な神社。若い女性の方で賑わっていました。
