History
Myoo-in, which flourished as a training hall of ascetic practice in Rokugomanzam, is an ancient temple with Fudo Myoo as its principal deity. It was an important hub supporting the spiritual culture of the Kunisaki Peninsula and a sacred site where rigorous training has been conducted. Stone Buddhist images and ancient stone pagodas are scattered throughout the grounds, evoking the weight of long history. Through the powerful protection of Fudo Myoo, it is believed that he grants the strength to overcome difficulties. Located in quiet mountains, it is an ideal place to calm the mind and offer sincere prayers.
