In Shido, I discovered the Enma Hall at Shidoji Temple, a rare sanctuary enshrining Enma, Lord of Life and Death. It teaches that all actions return through karmic justice, yet even within this stern law, the path to salvation exists. Even those burdened by evil karma may find redemption if their hearts turn to genuine repentance. If past transgressions trouble you, come before Enma with honest heart, and open the way to a new life reborn.
