Yuzawa Jinja is a shrine located in the hot spring area of Yukawa-cho, Hakodate-shi. It is said to have been established in gratitude for the blessings of the hot springs that have long flowed in this land, and to praise the miraculous power of their spiritual efficacy. As a special place where the healing power of the hot springs and the divine protection of the kami overlap, it has been cherished by many people. With an unbroken stream of visitors praying for the purification and health of body and mind, it has a history of warming people's hearts together with the blessings of the waters. As the guardian deity of Yukawa, known as Hakodate's inner sanctuary, it continues to be loved to this day.
