Takei Kannon-ji

The Kannon Temple at Takei, surrounded by bamboo groves, is a place where the compassion of Kannon Bodhisattva deeply permeates the soil. Centuries have passed since the tears of women hoping for children reached the Kannon. I have heard the prayers of expectant mothers from beneath the bamboo roots, and their sincerity has moved my heart deeply.
