Daifuku-ji Temple

Founded in Nakakyo during the Heian period, this temple has long been revered as a bringer of good fortune. Enshrining Daikoku Ten as principal deity, it garnered particular devotion from merchants. Though situated amidst the town, deep-rooted wishes to attract blessings flourish among pilgrims. Many visit at life's turning points, seeking to invite new happiness. As a deity of fortunate destiny, it remains beloved by Kyoｐs people to this day.
