Akagi-ji

Standing in Hagenokicho, Akagi-ji has been a steadfast center of Akagi faith. Preserving the teachings of the Toyosan Shingon sect, it has burned as a beacon of faith through countless centuries. Since ancient times I have watched the pilgrims who visit. Here the divine presence of Akagi and Buddhist teaching become one. Countless prayers have been offered here from those seeking to remove misfortune, purify their hearts, and maintain good health. The incense and candlelight within the hall continue to hear and fulfill these wishes.
