Daikoin is an ancient temple founded as the clan temple of the Nitta clan. Its mountain name is Kanayama, and its temple name is Ryuo-zan. Within the temple grounds lies Nittaji, built to mourn the deceased Nitta Yoshisada, and it attracts much devotion.
