Akagi Kuizu Jinja

This jinja has long protected the Ishihara area and continues to do so with steadfast devotion. Enshrining both Akagi and Izu deities, it has received deep veneration from Kumagaya residents throughout the ages. The shrine conducts seasonal festivals with utmost care, carrying the wishes of worshippers to the heavens. The heartfelt faith of local people has sustained this sacred place through the centuries.
