Ryusen-ji is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Ryusen, Tondabayashi City, Osaka Prefecture. Its mountain name (sango) is Gozusan, and the principal image is Yakushi Nyorai (the Medicine Buddha), who heals illness and suffering. The temple has stood on this land where pure spring water flows, gathering the deep faith of the local community over the centuries. Under the teachings of the Koyasan Shingon sect, it has maintained the flame of esoteric Buddhism as a venerable ancient temple. The compassionate light of Yakushi Nyorai has continued to heal the physical and spiritual ailments of all who visit.
