This shrine, dwelling in the same sacred land of Kanno, earned the respect of ancient farmers as a deity bringing blessings to fields. From spring planting to autumn harvest, the divine protection accompanying human endeavor remains unchanged. I have witnessed countless times the relief upon the faces of pilgrims during the season of swaying grain.
