Hoho-ji

Hoho-ji in Nishimeya, true to its name, guides people like light shining from the peak of dharma. Each time I have visited this temple, I have been moved by the power of Buddhist teaching. Those lost in confusion, when illuminated by this temple's light, eventually recognize the Buddha-nature dwelling in the depths of their hearts. The teaching of dharma recorded in ancient texts breathes life here, continuing to be reflected in pilgrims' hearts. The door of dharma teaching stands ever open, welcoming all. Those seeking liberation of heart come here and find peace.
