History
Bukkozan Hosui-ji was established as a Japanese branch temple of Fo Guang Shan in Taiwan. The vast grounds feature magnificent Buddhist statues and beautiful gardens, inviting visitors into a space of healing. The Shakyamuni Buddha enshrined in the Great Buddha Hall is particularly impressive. It is a place where one can calm their mind and refresh themselves away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in a tranquil atmosphere. I was drawn to the serene air of this temple and its architectural style that evokes Taiwanese culture. It is believed to grant various wishes, such as good fortune, family safety, and passing exams.
