Jokoji is an ancient Shingon Buddhist temple located in Minami Ward, Kyoto. Its mountain name is Zuihozan, and its principal image is Senju Kannon (Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara). It serves as the 22nd pilgrimage site of the Rakuyo Sanjusansho Kannon Reijo pilgrimage circuit. Historically also written as Jokoji (成興寺), this venerable temple has long attracted devoted pilgrims seeking the compassionate blessings of Kannon.
