History

Byakko

Kadoma Jinja is enshrined in Kadoma City, Osaka. Though the exact founding date is unknown, records suggest it was once one of three shrines in the area, serving as the central shrine. When the village of Kadoma-sho developed and its fourth sub-village became independent, the deity Gozu Tenno was transferred to establish this shrine. In 1872, it was designated a Shinsen Heihaku Ryo Shinsha. The neighboring Mante Jinja, tutelary shrine of the third village, was absorbed as a subordinate shrine after it was dissolved in 1890.
